Asian Business Schools Up in the Downturn

The current downturn may be a key moment in the ongoing rise of Asian business schools. Up in the rankings and with the local economic conditions predicted to be less difficult than those in the West, it may be that Asian business schools will profit as the world's attention turns east. David Williams investigates.
A SOFTER DOWNTURN?
As China and India have boomed, a number of key schools in the region have risen to global prominence. And with the prevailing wisdom being that the Asian downturn will be softer and the upturn quicker to arrive than in the West, many Asian business schools are predicting they will do even better when the upturn comes.

GMAT Study Tip - Assumptions

Hidden assumption questions can be tricky. Here’s a tip that will help:
If the “flipped” answer weakens the conclusion then the original answer is the hidden assumption
Here’s an example:
Argument - Car X is the most expensive car, therefore Car X is the best car.
Question - What is the hidden assumption?
Answer (D) the more expensive the car is, the better the car is.
Flipped Answer (D) the more expensive the car is, the worse the car is.
The “flipped” answer weakens the argument, it is your correct answer choice!

During listening section you will listen to recorded information. While you're listening, you'll see pictures of the speakers or other images on your computer screen. If you don't understand a spoken dialogue on a listening section, do not worry about it and do not get involve in an inner dialogue: What did he say? I didn't understand that word!.
This inner dialogue causes you to concentrate on what is going on your mind and you miss out on what is happening in the dialogue. It is important to train yourself to stay relaxed in this situation.
