Your MBA Interview - Before and During
|

One of the greatest demons to overcome during the application procedure is the admissions interview. It’s typically the proverbial final hurdle, the boss at the end of the game. Crunch time. This is the one situation in whole cycle where you are able to speak face-to-face with your interviewers, after all.
Or is it? Networking is considered a key tool that any and every serious MBA applicant should have, so why not utilise that skill even before you get to the interview? B-School Info Session are there not just for the candidate to learn more about the program as it is sold to them, but they also provide further excellent opportunities to speak to Admissions Directors and Officers directly. Make sure that they take your name, get them interested – who knows, they may be someone conducting interviews. If they remember you as soon as you walk into that interview room, you’re one step ahead already.

Should I retake the GMAT?
|

This is one of the most frequently asked questions we get at ICON+. Here are some questions we throw back at you!
1. Did something occur on the test day that prevented you from scoring as high as you normally would have?
Perhaps you came down with the flu, received some very disturbing news just before the test, or got so nervous that your test-taking abilities were severely impaired. In such cases, it may be a good idea to retake the GMAT.
